1. Introduction to rock climbing (1 day)
Contents: Introduction to equipment, movement skills, tying and clipping on, belaying, climbing calls, climbing lots of routes.
Venue: Dalkey Quarry

2. Becoming a competent second (2 days) (Some climbing experience preferred)
Contents: Equipment, tying and clipping on, belaying
a leader, removing and placing gear, carrying gear, slings, understanding
anchors and setting up belays, abseiling safely and more climbing.
Venue: Dalkey Quarry
Duration: 2 days
Ratio: 1:4

3. Lead climbing (2 days) (Previous climbing experience necessary)
Contents: Introduction to equipment, racking up, clipping, placing gear, belaying, climbing calls, anchor selection, setting up belays, personal abseiling, use of prusiks, leading routes under supervision.

4. Private Guiding (1+ days)
Contents: The emphasis is on development and progression of skills over time. Courses are therefore designed to suit your individual needs, be it; preparation for an Alpine or Himalayan Peak, progression towards instructional awards or just to spend time on rock.
Venues: Dalkey Quarry, Wicklow, Mournes, Scotland, Wales, England.
Duration: 1+ days
Ratio: 1:1-2
